Affiliate Disclosure

Let me tell you a little about the ads and outgoing links on the Smart First Graders website.

Why Are There Ads?

Sometimes you will find links or ads that take you away from this site. (I try not to do that too much, because I want you to stick around.) Most of these will connect you to products or websites that are relevant to you and your family. Many of them are helpful for first grade learning.

Some of these make me a few cents when they are clicked on. Others are affiliate partners and when you buy from them, after clicking on one of my links, I get a small percentage. And there are others that bring in no income at all, but I have them on here because I think they are valuable for you.

This is a way for me to bring in a little money without having you pay for the information on my website. Some people have membership sites that are paid for as a subscription. I don't want to do this, because I want fun learning to be possible for everyone, without having to pay for it.

But you may be wondering, Can I trust that these links, programs, and products are any good? Is Kelli promoting these or are they just ads on her website?

The Bottom Line

My goal at Smart First Graders is to connect you with information and resources that can help your kids learn. If there is a product that I feel is only so-so, then I won't recommend it for your kids, and I won't feature it on my website, even if they are high-paying affiliates.

When someone wants to partner with me, I screen them carefully to see if I agree with what they are selling. I review their product, use their site. And if I like what I see, I'm happy to offer it to you.

Other times, I may already have a favorite resource I want you to know about. I might contact them to see if we can set up an affiliate partnership. Sometimes they can't or won't, but I'll still feature it if I think it's something you should know about.

Of course I can't guarantee that everything you buy or connect with through my website will help your child or be the right fit for you. But I can say that if it is on my site, I've checked it out and it has my stamp of approval.

If you ever have a negative experience as a result of any of these partners, please let me know. I want to make sure my readers and their kids always get the best learning resources possible.

All the best,
